Start of Spring: warmer wind more than expected
Yunnan Gateway 2020-02-10 16:58:26

Tuesday (Feb. 4) marks this year's Lichun in Chinese, or “Start of Spring”, the first of the 24 solar terms in Chinese traditional lunar calendar. During the next 15 days, warmer east wind is expected to arrive and melt the snow and ice.

This year, the warmer wind is anticipated much more than that in a usual year, given the current gloom caused by the novel coronavirus outbreak.
