This autumn, have a soul-stirring trip in Shangri-La
2018-09-14 17:35:14

In the Tibetan language, the word Shangri-La means the "sun and moon in heart,"

And it is yearned for worldwide because of  Lost Horizon, an English novel.

If you have seen the Dai people’s customs in Xishuangbanna in winter,

Felt the coolness of Mt. Cangshan and Lake Erhai in Dali in summer,

And enjoyed the bustling yet quiet old town of Lijiang in spring...

Then it’s time for you to have a soul-stirring trip in Shangri-La in autumn.

Here, you can see in distance the lakes, herds and prayer-flags, when walking in the fields of flowers and creeks.

You can greet the Yunnan Snob-nosed Monkey in the woods,

Make a wish at the Ganden Stumtseling Monastery near the snow-capped peaks,

And have a nice dream on the grassland beside the Napa Lake.

Or you can also gaze at the Meili Snow Mountain under the starry sky.

Potatso National Park

In the Tibetan language, the word "Potatso" means the lake through which all living creatures can be delivered  from torment.

The park landscape here features alpine meadows, lakeside wetlands, pastures, herds, wild flowers, and mountains. All look fascinating.

Ganden Stumtseling Monastery

The Ganden Stumtseling Monastery, known as the “Little Potala Palace”, is the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan.

Here, you will surely be enchanted by the quiet air and ethereal beauty of the Monastery.

Napa Lake

The Napa Lake looks different in all four seasons: In the rainy seasons of summer and autumn, it is a large lake coupled by grassland. When the dry seasons of winter and spring come, the lake will shrink and appear to be swamps.Ancient Town of Dukezong

The ancient town of Dukezong in Shangri-La used to be a major stop on the Ancient Tea-Horse Road. The town features slab-stone streets, wooden houses and the world's largest prayer wheel.

Sometimes, you may fall in love with a place at the very first glance.
