Yunnan Gateway 2019-05-07 17:00:53

As spring gives way to summer, the Meili Snow Mountain, which features the towering peaks of Kawagarbo, Miancimu and others, presents tourists a spectacular sight.

Standing in Deqin County, northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, the Meili Snow Mountain extends for 150 kilometers, with the 6,740 m Kawagarbo being the highest peak in Yunnan province.

As an essential part of the World Natural Heritage Site of Three Parallel Rivers, the snow mountain brings in crowds of tourists home and abroad, emerging as a signature of Yunnan tourism.
