Grapes, juicy peaches seen in Diqing countryside
Shangri-lanews 2019-08-16 11:00:17

In August, juicy peaches have reached their maturity at the Hualuoba village of Baohe Town in Weixi County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

The showy peaches hanging on the branches stirred the taste buds of passers-by with their honey-like taste and the white-red colors.

These days, watermelons, grapes, pears and others got ripe in succession in the Benzilan town in Deqin County, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous, turning the riverside town into a kingdom of fragrant fruits.

Local villagers are selling them on roadside stalls and the plateau organic fruits are favored by tourists and other passers-by.
