Profile of Baima snow mountain in late autumn
Shangri-lanews 2019-11-04 16:57:08

Following Frost's Descent, the 18th of 24 solar terms in the Chinese lunar calendar, the Baima snow mountain presents visitors picturesque scenery in northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

The boundless mountains, valleys and meadows are turned into an "oil painting" by cold-born colors. The white snow peaks, red pine forest, golden leaves and red berry bushes add radiance to each other.

Overlooking the U-shaped valleys and the snow-capped mountains beside the Lancang River, tourists are impressed by the sight that features white clouds, bright sunshine and falling pine needles.
