Shangri-lanews 2020-04-02 17:57:44

Starting on April 1, the Songzanlin lamasery in northwest Yunnan’s Diqing resumed service to tourists, meaning all the scenic areas across the Tibetan autonomous prefecture have reopened.

The business hours last from 12:00 at noon to 19:00 pm. All visitors need to wear masks, take the temperature and show the ID card before entry, and such practices will continue till the Covid-19 pandemic fade away fully.

Songzanlin now offers a 50% ticket discount to visitors. Chinese medics can enjoy free entries.
