Villagers shake off poverty by developing rural tourism

Residents of Xianrendong Village have shaken off poverty by developing rural tourism which takes advantage of natural resources within the Puzhehei scenic area. Agritainment activities and accommodations run by villagers have attracted tourists both home and abroad.



 

In 2019, the village's annual per capita net income reached 40,000 yuan (5,625 U.S. dollars). (Xinhua/Yang Zongyou)
