Yunnan pavilion highlighted the concept of holistic tourism, with the focus on presenting the integrated development of culture and tourism. Health-care tours, research tours, road trips are also popular among exhibitors and audiences from home and abroad.

In addition, the 60 square-meters "Yunnan mobile phone tour" interactive area displayed the core functions of "Travel in Yunnan" app including facial recognition, smart guide and online shopping.

This year marks the 20th anniversary of CITM. Over the past 2 decades, CITM has seen a continuous increase in Yunnan exhibitors and tourism products. According to persons in charge of Yunnan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, next, the province will make good use of smart tourism and various exhibition platforms to integrate offline and online development of the industry, while improving the global marketing network through Facebook and Twitter, so as to expand the inbound tourism market.
