A total of 26 firms from Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture attended the ongoing 2019 South and Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair (SSACEIF) in Kunming, Yunnan province.

The Diqing exhibition area features local specialties of wine, barley, yak meat, olive oil, and others.

Of these, the yak meat and the eggs and chicken from the Nixi village were highly spoken of by foodies coming to the fair. The daily yak meat sales at the Shangri-La Shengyu company reached around 30,000 yuan.   

The exhibition area also highlights Diqing’s natural sceneries, ethnic customs, cultural heritiages and efforts in cultural tourism.

Pictures of the Meili snow mountain, Yunnan snob-nosed monkeys, the Songzanlin temple and the black potteries were liked by visitors to the SSACEIF.
