Activity held in Yunnan in honor of Nie Er, national anthem composer

Pupils perform a school play at the former residence of Nie Er in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province, Sept. 27, 2019. 



An activity themed on the national anthem was held at the former residence of Nie Er on Friday. China's national anthem "March of the Volunteers" was composed in 1935, with lyrics by poet Tian Han and music composed by Nie Er.
