2019 Colorful Yunnan International Granfondo Cycling Festival will be held in China's southwest Yunnan province from November 2 to 9.

"The total course length is 650 kilometers. More than 1000 cyclists from 36 countries and regions have registered," Yunnan Provincial Sports Bureau said on Monday.

This will be the 6th edition of Granfondo Yunnan. This year's event has 6 stages: Mangshi Stage, Ruili Stage, Yingjiang Stage, Tengchong Stage, Dali Stage and Lijiang Stage.

Participants who can finish all the six stages will get 6 colorful medals which could be pieced together to form a small bicycle.

This Cycling Festival, which is often called Granfondo Yunnan for short, is a multi-day cycling race originating from Italy.

In the past 5 years, thousands of cyclists have visited Yunnan to join the race. The beautiful course and rich tourism resources in Yunnan have made the event more and more popular.
