Shangri-lanews 2019-11-07 18:53:15

Since the precision poverty alleviation was carried out, Shangri-La City in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture has in recent years seen educational progress driven by rapid educational informationization.

Adopting a coordinate and orderly approach to push forward education effectively and step by step, the city has reformed the public cause in relation with the informationization tasks assigned by the national, provincial and prefectural education authorities.

Based on the city’s realities, the guideline, objectives and measures were clearly defined for educational informationization. A timetable has been formulated and more money has been invested to improve the environment.

In total, around 45 million yuan has been spent in purchasing 176 e-whiteboards, all-media meeting rooms, software development, 272 computers, 342 classrooms with cloud computing, and audio-visual broadcasting stations of high definition.

As a result, rapid educational informationization has taken place in primary and secondary schools around the county-level city. Teachers were trained on special projects and now they are more capable of using information technologies in teaching in the Tibetan area.
