At least 70 photographs are displayed in the exhibition, depicting the life of ethnic minorities, natural scenery and achievements of economic construction in Yunnan.

Inaugurating the exhibition, Chairman of National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timalsena hope the exhibition will help Nepali people better understand Yunnan Province.

Besides the exhibition, the event also hosted Yunnan Province-Nepal Tourism Business Fair to support Visit Nepal Year 2020, which has a target of welcoming 2 million foreign tourists.

"I hope the fair can bring more Yunnan tourists to Nepal next year," he added.

According to the organizers, the direct flights between Kathmandu and Yunnan's Kunming have highly facilitated the exchange of people and supplies, and the investment of Yunnan companies in Nepal has been significantly increased recently.
