267 tons of fruits, vegetables donated to Wuhan
Yunnan Gateway 2020-02-10 16:46:45

16 large trucks carrying 267 tons of fruits and vegetables left Zhaotong City in northeast Yunnan and for Wuhan on February 10. The Wuhan city in central China's Hubei province is plagued by a novel coronavirus nowadays.

Involving potatoes, apples, brown sugar and others, the produces are valued at around 3 million yuan, all denoted by Zhaotong locals who carried out the deeds with grateful hearts.

People in Zhaotong, especially those in the Ludian quake-stricken area, still remember the 11.24-million-yuan donation from Wuhan in August 2014, when a 6.5-magnitude earthquake hit Zhaotong’s Ludian County.
