Another 10 tons of Tibet's yak meat arrives in Hubei

An A330 wide-body airliner took off from Lhasa Gonggar Airport on February 19. The cargo hold of the plane was loaded with 1,113 boxes of 10,896 kg yak meat donated to Hubei Province by State Grid Tibet Electric Power Co., Ltd.

Donated more than 10 tons of yak meat this time came from Damxung County. On the evening of February 20, yak meat arrived at State Grid Hubei Electric Power Co., Ltd., and would be distributed to electric power companies in cities of Hubei Province. To quickly transport the donated materials, Tibet Autonomous Regional Administration of CAAC opened a green channel immediately after receiving the transportation application, and actively contacted the airlines, which received strong support from Air China Cargo.

From January 21 to February 18, Tibet Autonomous Regional Administration of CAAC guaranteed safe and smooth transportation of 12,798 boxes of anti-epidemic materials, totaling 108,501 kg and 9,954 boxes of daily necessities (fruits and vegetables), weighing 164,452 kg.
