11th Panchen Lama worships at Jokhang Temple in Lhasa

On August 3, Panchen Erdeni Choskyi Gyalpo, also a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), vice president of the Buddhist Association of China, and president of the association’s Tibet branch, visited Jokhang Temple in Lhasa to worship the Buddha and chant sutras to pray for national and world peace and prosperity.
