Guozhuang Dance of Jiantang

Guozhuang dance is one of the traditional tibetan dance of Jiantang town which performs by local women and men during festivals or wedding day.It is also an important platform and inheritance form of Tibetan culture,which called "living fossil" of  Tibetan folk dances and sings.

Guozhuang is an ancient and primitive dance form,which is distributed in Tibet-related area such as Changdu and Naqu in Tibet,Aba and Ganzi in Sichuan,Yushu in Qinghai,Gannan in Gansu and Diqing in Yunnan.

Jiantang Guozhuang is popular with the unique life to local people,"Nadang" in Jiantang tibetan tells about historical story,"Saca" in Jiantang tibetan tells geography,"Cila" is dance form at kinds of ceremony celebrations,and the "Qiongsi cala" in Jiantang tibetan usually performs at moving to new house.People praise brave and hardworking people,praise wellbeing life,praise every piece of stone and every tree,and thank nature for its selfless gift by singing and dancing Guozhuang.
