A long-table feast was held on December 31 in the Dukezong old town of Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, for the upcoming New Year’s Day. 
The feast featured Tibetan-style hot pot, Tibetan-flavored pork, highland barley wine and buttered tea, inviting in numerous tourists from home and abroad.
During the banquet, tourists also appreciated the local folk songs of blessing, while tasting the Tibetan delicacies. 
Following the long table feast, they gathered on the Moonlight Square for a group dancing around the bonfire.
The gathering was highlighted by the Guozhuang dance and the Xuanzi music, as well as the tunes of the Yi, Lisu and Naxi athnic groups.
