Pictures taken by local reporters show the early spring scenery of the Nakeli old town in southwest Yunnan’s Ninger County.

As a key stop on the ancient Tea-Horse Road, Nakeli has now reopened to visitors, who came to enjoy local vegetables, bacon, tofu and more.

"Our town has been closed for over one month to join the battle against the COVID-19, but now we have passed the risk assessment and are allowed to resume business orderly,” said the town manager.

The past weekend coincided with the International Women's Day, and the first wave of the visitors in the new year has brought the old town back to life.
