Northwest Yunnan’s Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture welcomed in a received a group of 35 domestic tourists on April 16, marking the first tourist group ever visiting the Shangri-La area.

Since the Covid-19 outbreak months ago, not a single suspected or confirmed case has been reported in this scenic Tibetan prefecture.
